| You are seeing the last train to operate over the former CofG line between Eufaula and Union Springs. The line has been long abandoned at this time but was used for storing boxcars. Around 1986 NS began moving the boxcars off this line due to it's deteriation. The last of the stored cars were pulled out by 4 EMD's. Note the rough condition of the trackage and the overhanging kudzu vines that had covered cars that until recently had been sitting here. |
