Album Info:This is a scan of an employee timetable dated May 17, 1925 for the Athens district which operated between Macon and Athens GA. It shows the various trains operating as well as coaling stations, water stations, train order offices, and much more. An interesting glimpse into a long gone era of steam locomotive, passenger trains, and small town railroading.

Description:  Seen here is page 3 showing "eastward" trains operating between Athens and Macon. Although the line ran geographically north and south, the old CofG was a east/west railroad and the CofG deemed Athens toward Macon to be eastward.
