The newest GWI basks in the summer sun at Hilton GA. This unit began life 10/1980 on the Union Pacific and has seen stints on the FEC before coming to the AGR. It left Hilton headed to Dothan AL on 6/17 and I assume a return to the AGR Railroad. |

A AGR SD40-2 is seen in the CSX yard in Dothan AL enroute to the CIRR paint shop at Cedar Springs and a blast of orange/black paint. CSX will interchange this unit to GWI's Chattahoochee Bay who will ferry it from Dothan to Hilton where it will take the CIRR to Cedar Springs. |
