Description:
The Americus switch engine is seen at the former freight depot. The old Southwestern freight depot sat just beyond the depot seen in thiy photo and was torn down a few years ago. The depot seen in this photo sits on the site of the old passenger station. Remnants of the foundation are visible in the pavement between the street and the depot.
