Odd looking Bayline local
Title:  Odd looking Bayline local
Description:  Yep...thats a locomotive on each end. And no the Bayline has not gone to using DPU's on the Abbeville branch. I caught them late but I am pretty sure this set up was so they could switch the peanut mill in Headland northbound. This would be due to the way the switch to the peanut mill lays.

A somewhat empty Bayline yard
Title:  A somewhat empty Bayline yard
Description:  Bayline EMD's occupy an almost empty Bayline yard in Dothan AL on a dreary winter day. GWI's roads in the area keep the cars moving so empty yards are the norm.

Chattahoochee Bay RR
Title:  Chattahoochee Bay RR
Description:  The Chattahoochee Bay RR is using a pair of Bayline GP38-2's today still in the classic Bayline yellow/green scheme. Due to orange/black GWI corporate repaints, Bayline units are getting harder to come by still in the classic scheme much less 2 of them operating together. Nice to see them on a clear summer morning.

Hilton and Albany switcher
Title:  Hilton and Albany switcher
Description:  The Hilton and Albany switcher has picked up Bayline 511 from the CIRR yard and it will be trailing going east toward Albany tonight. I am assuming it is headed to the GSWR at Arlington but I don't know if it is going there for switching duties or to the shop at Dawson. The last green/yellow Bayline unit that had shop work done at Dawson came back to the Hilton and onto the CIRR paint shop at Cedar Springs where it will soon emerge in the corporate GWI orange/black. Could the same fate be in the future for the 511?

Roster shot
Title:  Roster shot
Description:  Here is a roster shot of Bayline 511 still proudly wearing the classic green/yellow scheme. It is one of a very few still in the classic scheme and given the condition of the paint now it may not be long before it gets the corporate orange/black treatment.
